Why was my credit card declined?

Our credit card processor generally returns two error codes to us when a credit card is declined:
 
1. Address verification error

2. General decline

 
In the case of an address verification error make sure the address you submit with your payment matches the billing address for your credit card. If not, your bank will decline the charge.
 
In the case of a general decline contact your bank. For privacy reasons your bank will not disclose the reasons behind a general decline to Simply Hosting, only to the customer who submitted the charge.
