On Wednesday 07/13/2011 at 11:45 CDT, we started seeing a degradation of network services impacting our server locations.  The issue is resulting in significant latency and upstream route issues. Clients may be unable to reach their accounts as a result of the sudden increase and level of latency.

The issue appears to be a result of upstream stability issues within the Internap PNAP.  We are working with Internap on a resolution and working to offload any other routes where possible.

Updates will be provided through this post as we work to resolve this issue and return services to normal.  We understand the impact to our clients, and appreciate your patience while we work to resolve the matter.

UPDATE 12:45 CDT:  Routing performance is generally improving as BGP updates are applied and upstream issues with Internap are worked.  Clients are still experiencing higher than normal latency, and depending upon the source ISP of the connection may have continued issues.

We are continuing to work through this situation and will provide another update on progress shortly.
